Victoria's Secret Here I Come!

Candice Swanepoel wearing the Dream Angels Demi Bra

If you haven't heard already, I finally got a job interview with Victoria's Secret!! AHH!! I am so excited you have no idea! I have been wanting to work there for the longest time! I have always been obsessed with their models and lingerie line for quite some time. It all first started in 2005 when I started going to Brock University. I watched the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that winter with my roommate and I feel in love. I love the confidence that all the models have and the amazing lingerie they got to wear. I mean what girl does not want to be a Victoria's Secret Model! My favourite models from there are Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr. Shawn's favourite is Candice Swanepoel. She is on his desktop wallpaper right now. LOL! But yes, I got an interview with them on Wednesday and I really hope I get the job. Many of my friends tell me that I should work at Victoria's Secret because I know so much about them. I'm like a walking advertisement for them so I might as well just work there. I will let you guys know if I got the job or not. *crosses fingers*

1.5 Year Anniversary Weekend with Shawn

This past weekend I attended the annual Ice Wine Festival at Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL), Ontario. I love this place! It's a great escape from the city life. I first discovered this place when I was at Brock University and have been going ever since. It's my fourth year going to the Ice Wine Festival. Here is the link to go to their website: Click here

The only event that I attend is the Ice Wine Village which is usually held on the second weekend of the festival.

Here is the description from the website of what it is:

Historic Queen Street is transformed into a winter wonderland as the entire town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ranked the #1 Food and Wine Destination in Canada by TripAdvisor, comes together to host wine country’s annual celebration of Icewine. Icewines of the 28 Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake will flow alongside the sounds of Canadian Jazz. Culinary delights inspired by Icewine prepared by Signature Kitchen Chefs will tempt the palate and talented artists will transform blocks of ice into sparkling sculptures. Admission is free.

We stayed at a bed & breakfast called Brockamour Manor. I love this place!! We stayed in the room called The Loft. It's basically the attic but really amazing. It really is a "hidden treasure" (from their website). There is so much history in this house. Rick, the owner of the bed & breakfast was such a nice man. He made our stay very comfortable and relaxing as well as his wife Colleen. I highly recommend going there if you plan to spend the night in NOTL. It is also a short walk from Queen Street (the main street of NOTL) so it's in a perfect location. Not too close and not too far from the fun!

Here are some pictures of our weekend!

The food we are about to eat was Bacon Lobster Chili. I had two samples of it!

Shawn's First Korean BBQ Experience!!!

Hello my fellow earthlings!

Hahaha just kidding! So finally my first blog post of 2011!! Yeahhh and obviously it has to be food!! I have decided to take Shawn to a Korean BBQ restaurant. The restaurant we went to is called Chako. It's located by Leslie and Hwy 7 in Richmond Hill I believe. If not, just Google it. You can find everything there! Sadly this restaurant does not have a website but I can tell you, you will walk out of that restaurant feeling really really really FAT. I literally passed out in a food coma for about 2 hours. Ask Shawn, he knows.

Anyways, here are some pictures from our dinner! P.S. We went to the dinner during the week (Monday-Thursday). They have an additional menu for those who go on the weekend!

We just ordered and we are waiting. I don't know what Shawn is doing....

Here is our food! Omg I am too excited!

Mmm look at them cook away!!

I had to take a picture of this because the peppers look like the Ontario symbol...haha! <--NERD!

This is a sign I should stop taking pictures. I was trying to take a picture of him eating....FAIL!

Expect a video coming from date! I filmed a bit of our dinner. So expect that in the next few weeks!

Happy Christmas Eve!!

Hey everyone!

I want to take the time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas to those to celebrate it!! And for those who don't enjoy your holidays and your awesome 4 day weekend to me fellow Canadians!

I am not sure what I will be doing this Christmas being that my brother is sick in the hospital as of yesterday morning. His lung has collapsed again. He previously had a surgery done for it around my birthday.

I would love it if you guys take the time to go to his channel and wish him the best of luck and get well better messages. I think it would make him really happy. He has his laptop in the hospital so he does have internet.

Here is the link to his channel!

Please sent as many messages as you want!

Today is also mine and Shawn's 5 month anniversary so we plan to go skating at Nathan Philips Square in Downtown Toronto and go the Real Sports Bar and Grill. Which is North Americas best sports bar. So I am excited. But before we go, we are going to visit my brother in the hospital.

That is all for now everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
